Never ever seen a Mcgyver ep at all and Hearing that he escapes from risky situations intrigued me, I could have sworn he was going to get out the coffin ridiculously and he did, with a remote detonator, I was fine with that till he pulled out a f***in Jet Ski…..
I was kind of amazed about how he blows the sides of the coffin with explosives, but then the rest of the coffin turns into a jetsky (was it a transformers coffin?)
I was expecting a shark coming out in the middle of the river so he could jump over it…
That was not really standard Mcguyver. Since when has he ever done anything like that. Coolest thing I ever saw him do was make a landmine out of pine cones, poo, rocks, and a backpack.
germans could have used ak47′s during cold war, remember kiddies, germany was split up into west and east germany with east germany being the communist sattelite that was made after WWII
I remember this episode, afaik the scene was an intro. The scene is cut off in the beginning, but he escapes east germany and the scene takes place at a bridge at Berlin. What would be a more fitting escape attempt for MacGuyver than to escape the soviet regime?
During the cold war, Berlin was divided up with a concrete wall and some rivers. There has been many escape attempts made over the Berlin Wall and guards from the russian side would shoot escapees at sight. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berlin_Wall

I was like, “He’s just gonna get out of the casket.” But then he gets a JET SKI all of a sudden. I’m like, “Woah!”

Seriously…WWII? You do know that macgyver was filmed in the 80′s, right? (wikipedia says jetski’s started going in production in ’76).
