Well, at least it was back in the day. Anyone old enough here to recognize that wicked stuff?

I would have killed for that setup back in the day. Still, I had (still have) a Vic-20 with an 8k ram expansion cartridge AND tape back up to cassette. Jupiter Lander anyone?
I had a c64 when was a kid. those were the good ol’ days!
That was a killer system back in the day. Then IBM came along and used a sewing machine controller chip to make the IBM PC, and things have gone downhill ever since.
I use to go over a friends to play frogger on his Atari 800
omg! that was my desktop 20 years ago! I sure do miss Miner 2049er!
Atari 800, Atari printer, Atari 1010 Tape drive, and 2 atari 1050 5 1/4 Double Density Disk Drive.
The Atari 800 had 2 cartridge slots, one for the Basic programming cartridge, and the other for games. The 800xl had the basic eprom built in, so it had only one cartridge slot. For the person who said 2600 cartridges worked, it never did, the slots were different.
@Pablo don’t you mean O’s computer is in constant CrIsis not that it plays CrYsis?
As to my typo on Colombia I bow before your spellcheck skills – lol. If you’re a fan of ELR and you aren’t used to the tongue in cheek references to Colombia being an untamed land of drug cartels, military coup’s and 1930′s technology then I’m not sure what podcast/web comic you’re a fan of.
Obviously O couldn’t produce his fine comic or pirate his fine collection of content on a dinosaur of a machine like that. But it will never stop being funny to imagine that he or by extension his fellow Colombians like yourself manage to do so like some sort of modern descendants of spanish gnomes.
No. Because it’s old.
Fucking nostalgia.
Atari 800
Atari 810 Drive (both models, tandon and MPI)
Atari 825 line printer which implies the use of
Atari 850 serial/parallel device.
Radio shack certified 5 1/4 disks
Atari 410 Cassette Deck (This is Tawain or Hong kong model, as apposed to the Japan version and the very rare 410P which I once owned)
Atariwriter is running off the cartridge.
I am not familiar with the atari plastic binders. They look like floppy cases.
Bunch of star wars glasses
@Mattzilla
Hehehe, I wasn’t offended or anything, O does have a hand for killing computers no matter how good he buys them, remember when he busted his machine on linux? and the typo is sooo common I try not to bother anymore, but it still bugs me.
And even if we’re not *that* far behind… you’ll laugh at what we call “high bandwidth” here, it’s really hard to see more than 1Mbi/s in a home, no wonder O always sound like he’s calling from, like… Colombia?
And finally, I invite any ExtraLife reader/listener to come to our country, it’s quite an experience and I’ll be glad to show you guys around.
