After previously posting about the awful contraption that was the ColecoVision Super Action Controller, I began to scouring the Interweb to see what other abominations the gaming industry had unleashed upon us. I managed to come a cross IGN’s list of what they believe to be the ten worst game controllers ever to be released.
I’m happy to say I haven’t been subjected to using around half of those controllers. Has anyone had the pleasure of using everyone of them?

I got a Turbo Touch for my birthday (10th or 11th) from a “friend” and for about 5 minutes, I thought the thing was cool. I then realized that I had to lift my thumb COMPLETELY outside of the little ring to make the thing not move the charcter. In Super Mario World, I would press down instead of lifting my thumb to make it easier to use. This contraption soon got married to some old tube socks and they moved to the back corner of my closet to live together for all eternity.
Haven’t we seen this before? This or something very similar from another site? I remember that they had there a sony controller which you had to twist in order to move right and left and almost all the ones seen here too. Is IGN copying other sites with this top 10 thing?

I liked the ‘fat X box controller’ but maybe that’s because I don’t have little girly hands…
I liked the fat Xbox controller too. Way too many people hated that controller, but the thing deserved credit. As much as I like the GCN, I think the fat Xbox controller is better than the GCN contrller and definitely the N64 controller.
I love the GCN controller. It’s a nice fit.
Yeah, the xbox controller felt good in my hands. The 360 controller though, is a work of art. Absolutly incredible. Microsoft learned from their mistakes.

Yeah, I liked the original x-box controller too, but i’ma agree that it was a little large if you weren’t, ya know, a fully grown male hill giant. Which I may or may not be.
Still. They were more durable, I don’t know how many of those little ones I’ve been through, lmao.

On another note, the x-box controller was one of the very few recent controllers that made the list (if you can truely call the x-box recent).
