That last comment was supposed to say “[crickets]” but I used the less than/greater than brackets (or whatever they’re called in programming).

  2. Scott

    meaning you don’t like them?

  3. standardtoaster

I never heard of the brand myself :/

Its alright, tho i’m more of a Quiksilver guy myself, always liked there style, not sure about Matix’s popularity tho, not much skaters here in London =| (that i know of)

  5. After_Sparks

I snowboard and every store I go to for equipment seems to have Matix. I’m more of a “Scott” and “Fox” guy though

    Matix is huge.

I’m a skateboarder and I wear Matix clothing myself :) in fact one of my favorite hats of all time was a Matix cap.

  7. Shaun

I think Matix is pretty popular and I have seen the name around.

Not that I don’t like them. Just that there were no comments, and I thought that the post has been up for a little while. My “skater” days were back about 12-15 years ago. My favorite brand back in the day was Hook-Ups. I don’t even know if they’re still around.

    /sigh

I miss the days of wearing the rattiest, baggiest clothes I could find and thinking it was cool. It was so comfortable. Sadly, I think most of those clothes would be a perfect fit for me now. =/

matix are ok, they have a darker look then most brands. i’m a snow guy and i think for the most part matix is fashioned more for skaters. as far as popularity goes, from 1-10; 10 being the highest, i would say they are a 6. there are better brands for alot cheaper.

Matix is pretty popular – even here in Poland. Although, I prefer local brands like Clinic or Mass since they’re about twice as cheap and produce clothes comparable in quality to the imported stuff.

Matix is pretty big, i dont know about snowboarding exactly, but its pretty popular around skaters.

Matix is definitely a popular brand with skaters. If you’re asking because of a potential business thing, I’d go for it for sure.

  13. Argiflex

Matix is OK, but I would suggest to get something from a company that isnt in Pac-Sun, like Anti-Hero or Ambiguous

scotts needs to buy something for his daughter right.

Matix have the best denim, and style for a straight leg fit. The best cut is the Miner which is not so skinny people can see your junk. It is a brand that you wont see alot of the younger crowd wearing, more college-aged kids which is the group they mainly target.

Been snowboarding for about 9 years and am surprised to say I’ve never heard of it! Don’t spend a lot of time shopping around, usually have my brands I stick to, like Obermeyer, Burton, and some others. Sure it’s fine though, just checked ‘em out and at least some of their stuff looks pretty cool!

I’ve been snowboarding for a long time and I’ve never heard of the brand as well. Northface, Columbia, Obermeyer, and Spyder. Is it for both skateboarding and snowboarding? depends if you need gear for waterproof, windproof, insulation or just “clothing”.

I’ve been skateboarding on and off over the years. I live in Detroit, Michigan so we have a lot of “off season”. I’ve honestly never been familiar with Matix, or heard of them really. I mean, it rings a bell, but amongst all my friends and growing up through high school / college… Not a single person I’ve known has ever worn it.

Matix is a pretty solid company, good products, good team. I’m a fan.

matix is a pretty good brand, its not that big compared to some of the other skate brands. its probably more a skating brand then a snowboard brand. i wuld say that they sit around about the middle, they arent the best brand but they are definately not the worst. good solid, and nice looking clothes., will get some reps from some skaters.
