So have you guys had a chance to see the trailer? Kinda pumped for it…not gonna lie. I love Rorschach. I love Shawshank head guard dude. It might be total crap, but I don’t care. This series was HUGE when I was growing up. I say bring it! See the trailer here.

Well, glad to see the young John Connor found work.

  2. Nakoma

I would pay an extra dollar at every movie just to have nothing but original films… no remakes.

  3. Erich the Mad Bassist

    * waits for it to come to Netflix *

Holycrap. I had a dream last night that I was in a movie theater and there was a banner for a remake of Elm St. and I had no idea they were actually doing it until just now.

‘I love Shawshank head guard dude’ – Otherwise known as Clancy Brown! Voice of Lex Luthor and Mr Crabs! Awesome all round!

    • Nakoma

Also known as The Kurgan from Highlander!

I’m pretty sad about this. what was wrong with the first one? Actually, nothing since M.B. decided to copy scenes. Hopefully, the talent that Jackie Earle Haley used to play Rorschach will cancel out the hot air that M.B. puts in every of his movies.

Aye, Jackie does creepy so well… that just might get me into the theater after all. I remember the shock of how well Robert Englund did in the first, and I knew him as “Willy the Benign Alien” (his term!)

I think this is awesome and proof of the lasting power of the original. It’s like camp-fire re-telling of old stories. Almost like saying the original had the cultural impact of a classic book and will now receive a re-visioning. If you don’t think you’ll like it, don’t watch it; it’s a consumer’s choice really. I never understood they “why would you create this argument” (whine might be a better choice of words). I hated Titanic, so I could have said, “I would happily pay one dollar more to see any movie that wasn’t Titanic.” It just wasn’t my taste.

    Don’t want to see… well, anything… then don’t.

I hate to admit, but I am psyched for this too.
