Am I the only one who thinks they’ve given too much away in the previews? I mean, I seriously get the feeling that there’s supposed to be some tension around discovering that Marcus is a machine — and it’s definitely an awesome twist — but they gave it away in the first preview.
Gotta agree with you Quey-Joh. Unless that reveal happens in the first 15 minutes of the movie it seems the trailers have spoiled what could have been a surprising twist, and for no real benefit.
I just read the novelization and you know he’s a robot early on, the twist is more about where/when he comes from and who made him, and how, etc. I think they knew pretty quick that you couldn’t actually fool the audience with that idea for very long, so they don’t really bother. The point is, does he really know he’s a robot or is it just a robot trick? After reading the book I’m even more amped to see it now, even if the twist wasn’t the way I would have done it myself.
Well the eventual DVD/Blu-Ray release is said to be getting 30-40 minutes of deleted scenes including the infamous Moon Bloodgood topless scene where she is standing still and freezing under a rain making machine.
How many times can we save the world? . I was done after T2. . We need a crotchety old Ahnold. Who cares if he’s a Governor. He could play a scientist who’s sent back – he’s not the buff robot – he’s a flabby geezer.
1) I feel like he was tempted to go batman with the voice and was trying hard not to 2) At the end I had a funny thought – what if the voiceover guy was waiting until the end of the trailer to speak, looking at the script and how it said something like [3:55] – “Coming to theaters Thursday” or whatever? I know it’s not done like that but I thought it was funny.
Hollywood’s thought behind PG 13 is that parents will take their kids if it is PG 13 and that the R rating will just scare all the p whipped losers away. My though it as of late if it is rated and R and good I will see it twice in the theater. I want more rated R
PG 13? Come on, where were the good old days when movies rated R were shown ?
Good to see he has perfected the Batman voice for this movie.
Given US film rating priorities, PG13 probably just means that there’s not much sex interrupting the violence.
haha! Matt cracked me up, and also speaks the truth.
yes…yes!…YES i am so ready to see this… lawls matt…here in Canada its more like…………. us rated it R…. 14a it is
P
I’m really worried about this film. =\

Thanks for the additional info Carl. That certainly gives me an idea that they actually are handling things well.

Well, they actually failed to save the world in T3, so I’d say there track record isn’t too unrealistic ;^)

I hope so Matt. I don’t need sex interrupting my violence.
