Attempting to market off the mere presence of Dennis Miller, Amne$ia failed in less than two months flat. This show was so pointless, that it didn’t even make sense to begin with: Contestants were asked questions about events they spent with a friend or loved one, for some of the rounds, while other rounds were as random as games of pin the tail on the donkey. We’re betting Dennis Miller claims amnesia on this one ever happening.
And there are 14 other winners on this list as well.

While watching the Family Double Dare video, hearing the music gave me flash backs to when I was 7 and begging my mom to let us be on the show.
I’m sorry to say that whomever wrote this article either a) doesn’t get the concept of what a game show really is, or b) is just a troll. I want a refund on the time I wasted reading it.
I’m surprised at the number of ‘american’ shows that have a Dutch version as well.
The Dutch version of ‘hole in the wall’ started a week ago … and I really hope it gets cancelled, because (Dutch) quiz-shows that rely on ‘famous’ people tend to use C-list stars before the first season is done.
This list hit one or two of the obviously bad shows, but man did it miss the mark on some. Specificially – Legends of the hidden temple? You don’t need high production value for kid’s programming…and the shear awesomeness contained in that show as a kid is amazing. I actually watched a few episodes last year (because you can still find the show on TV!) and it’s pretty cool. Like a game-show version of Indiana Jones meets a video game.
Also, family double dare was a staple back in the day, family feud is a frickin classic (which has inspired a multitude of party board games), and deal or no deal…even if you don’t like it or never watch it…I mean the show is big enough that they have an arcade game at Dave and Buster’s.
It’s a blog, so the purpose is to express an opinion for entertainment and discussion – I respect that. But that being said, the writer’s opinions are wrong!
sigh
Legends of the Hidden Temple bad?!?! This person must be hunted down and given a stern lecture. Tar and feathering optional.
I agree with some of these, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Wipeout! Its just so good! Completely mindless mayhem and fun.
Wipeout is a very poor copy of MXE. MXE is mindless and corny, with a multitude of people. Wipeout is crap with 8 people, that drags on for an hour, and without the same humor due to OTA broadcast censoring. The idea of Wipeout was awesome, with horrid over produced, over hyped execution.
They need to have a game show similar to the one in the movie “The Running Man”
Distraction was awesome, the european version was even better. Watching the contestants trying to answer questions at the end when they miss one and a prize gets totaled was just too fun. Especially when it was a car and the person was a jerk, as the people who lost got to do the damage. There were some seriously disturbing distractions during the early rounds too.
Wipeout is mindless fun, yeah, it’s not deep or that great, but it’s a nice diversion that i can’t resist watching. Like a less traumatizing Scared (not a game show, but an Mtv show about people doing sports getting injured)
This list as a whole is pretty pointless though, personal opinion as to what sucks, claimed as Truth.
