The site, Insultingly Stupid Movie Physics gets me thinking about CHiPs… I mean, after watching that show, I realize how fortunate I am to have not have ever had a newspaper fly onto my windshield, causing me to cover my face with my hands (in an “ultraman X” sort of way), which then causes my car to jump into, and crash through a tractor-trailer, landing upside down (due to a mid air twist), at which point I would be saved by the super-sexy Ponch, just before my car and the tractor-trailer explode. Yessiree… I’m one lucky dog.

Worth reading.

Then this PBS documentary is definately for you. I love this sort of thing and I really dig the kinds of questions that get addressed. Such as:

- Why were Europeans the ones to conquer so much of our planet?
- Why didn’t the Chinese, or the Inca, become masters of the globe instead?
- Why did cities first evolve in the Middle East?
- Why did farming never emerge in Australia?
- And why are the tropics now the capital of global poverty?

Really interesting stuff.
