Remember when we were all in high school, and nothing we were into was considered cool by anyone but us? Things have switched. Saying you liked Iron Man in 1987 would have rendered you a nice beating in the hallway. Today, saying you like Iron Man is like saying you like breathing and eating food.

Different time. The best part? All my old jock friends coming out of the woodwork and slapping on the geek badge with gusto.

I LOVE a good board game, and I always look forward to chances to play with friends or family. But, I always have this huge mental block about the rules. I’m terrible at taking it all in and remembering anything. Wish I could blame this on age. This was a problem when I was a kid, and it remains a problem today.

I get a hot new tabletop game, rip it open, pour over the rules, and fall asleep. Dunno how some of you do it. I guess I’ll find out in July at N13.

Oh, and a new Frogpants TV posted, playing Psychonauts for the first time ever.

I really enjoyed Iron Man 3. I like to think about what kind of matchup he’d be with the likes of Batman. Both are rich, both have no real powers to speak of. They just make really cool shite and fight the bad guys with it. So, who wins in a fight?

Clearly the real reason they do this now, is overseas box-office numbers far exceed US numbers, at least on opening weekend. Makes sense to me. But we’ve been spoiled. Some people get all nationalistic about people getting our big cultural products first.

Once again, totally digging on this season of GoT, and as an even bigger fan of the books, I love watching Tyrion Lannister do his thing. Anyway, today’s comic is less of a comic, and more of an illustration. So there. Look for a new “jokey” comic on Thursday. Oh, and you can get a PRINT of this one if you desire it!

I love the quiet relationship between Bran and Hodor on GoT. Especially in the books, where it’s fleshed out so much more than the show. It’s really one of the only instances of pure dedication and devotion found in the entire series, and it shines pretty bright as a result.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it. Not much of a “comic”, you know, with jokes and stuff. But sometimes I just like drawing stuff I’m into. OH! And there’s a print available of this as well! GO HERE!

I couldn’t be more excited about “New Leaf”. Not a new Nissan…the next Animal Crossing game. Why? Because I like games that remind of of the innocence and purity of being a kid, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with enjoying these kinds of “cute” experiences at my age. Or your age. Or any age.

Anyone else planning on picking it up? It’s one of the half dozen reasons I purchased a 3DS in the first place. Looking forward to visiting your towns soon.

I really wanna try these things. But I swear, there are gonna be more weird new accidents when they become the norm. Or, will they even be the norm? Seems like one of those great cool gadgets that might not actually be all that practical. What say you?
