No way this actually happens, but it’s fun to think about. There are LOTS of game experiences I desire on the Xbox One. But I can say the same about the PS4, and with a more gamer friendly approach this generation, and a cheaper launch price, I feel like the choice is easy this time around.

I really like Jony Ive. Dude is a legend in hardware design, and when Apple moved him to be over all design, including OS stuff, well, that made me happy.

But, it seems to me they only bring him out of his little white box to talk at these keynotes in video form. So I thought, maybe he’s literally in a white box in a white room somewhere? Well, not really…good friend of the site, Steve (Buxley from The Instance) had the idea and I stole it from him, with his permission, of course. Thanks, Steve!

While I’ve not seen Sunday’s episode of Game of Thrones yet, I can tell by the twitter freakout that people got to a very important part of book three.

People are either shocked by what happened in the story, or shocked that people are shocked. The latter group have read the book. So have I, but prefer to let people discover this stuff themselves, and not go all hipster on em.

Anyway, it’s George that gets to laugh all the way to the bank anyway.

I’m no conspiracy theorist, but the idea that the new Xbox One Kinect camera is required to run your console, and is on “most of the time”, if not all the time, I’ll be a little less quick to down a bag of Cheetos in my undies on a saturday night while I play video games, know what I mean?

Anyway, excited about this year, and the new consoles. At the very least, this will be one of the most interesting years from a industry perspective in a very long time. Strap in! E3 is right around the corner!

I do these occasionally, and if you dig through the EL archives, chances are you’ll find others. They typically show up when a new x-men movie is coming out.

This time? Just felt like it. Well, sort of. I found a note in a book I keep next to my bed for sleep-time comic ideas and the like, and I don’t remember doing it, but there written in pencil were the words, “Nervous Diarrhea”. Very odd, but I ran with it the only way I know how, for good or bad.

Remember when we were all in high school, and nothing we were into was considered cool by anyone but us? Things have switched. Saying you liked Iron Man in 1987 would have rendered you a nice beating in the hallway. Today, saying you like Iron Man is like saying you like breathing and eating food.

Different time. The best part? All my old jock friends coming out of the woodwork and slapping on the geek badge with gusto.

I LOVE a good board game, and I always look forward to chances to play with friends or family. But, I always have this huge mental block about the rules. I’m terrible at taking it all in and remembering anything. Wish I could blame this on age. This was a problem when I was a kid, and it remains a problem today.

I get a hot new tabletop game, rip it open, pour over the rules, and fall asleep. Dunno how some of you do it. I guess I’ll find out in July at N13.

Oh, and a new Frogpants TV posted, playing Psychonauts for the first time ever.

I really enjoyed Iron Man 3. I like to think about what kind of matchup he’d be with the likes of Batman. Both are rich, both have no real powers to speak of. They just make really cool shite and fight the bad guys with it. So, who wins in a fight?
