Yeah, its a British show. Been out here for a while now.

    Finally! We got something first!

  5. Dave_Bukake

Does anyone know why my iTunes isn’t seeing the latest episode? All I get is upto ep 76. Any help would be appreciated.

  6. Alex J

You tried right clicking on the ‘Extralife Radio!’ bit and selecting update podcast?

  7. NeuroMan42

I was not MIA… I sent and email and a Crapline call.

  8. Draexin

Ahh, the crapline call which was barely audible? :P Ah well, too bad you weren’t there Andrew..

  9. Scott

Andrew…did you listen to the show? MIA just means missing in action…which you were. :) We played your call and talked about you the whole time. Now if I had said DOA, I could see your point. :)

  10. Sebastiaan

    Wasn’t andrew the DUI ? ….

  11. NeuroMan42

DUI?!? You said you were NOT gonna tell people, Scott.

  12. Rico

The Doctor Who coming to the Sci-Fi channel in March is the recent restart from last year in Britain. So these episodes have aired already there and I think the DVD set is also already out. It’s the set of shows with Christopher Eccleston. He only got to be the Doctor for one season.

  13. Johnny

Scott’s mystery game: Scott Johnson’s Gay midget wrestling!!!!
    (Mentioned in Episode 35)

  14. Len

Brian laughs like an Undead from World of Warcraft. I kept thinking you were playing an Undead Sound Board during the show.

  15. Sebastiaan

shh Len, you’re giving away the fact that Brian monlights as a voice-actor at Blizzard studio’s

I’m so going to get dumped on for this… But I was only ever happy with one episode of Sinfeld… the last one… when it was over.

I found little things about the show very funny, but could not watch an entire episode… I found the acting _that_ bad, and the characters were just too annoying. Based on their follow-on successes, I’d say my gut feeling individually was correct. I guess all of them together just clicked for some people.

I could go on, but I doubt the sentiment was shared.

Oh, and I still haven’t gotten into Family Guy yet. It originally struck me as a Simpsons knock-off that pushed a little into… weird. So I should probably give it another go.

I like King of the Hill, though… does that count? (I tell you h’what?)

  17. Scott

“I guess all of them together just clicked for some people.”

“Some” people? Dude, Sienfeld is considered by MILLIONS of people to be the best sitcom in the history of the medium. :)

  18. Rico

Love Seinfeld, love Family Guy! Two of my favorite comedy shows of all time!

  19. Rezlow

Wow, I guess I stand out amoung millions… Thanks Scott, that’s awesome!

    (I’m no sheep!)

It just seemed like _really_ poorly acted sketch comedy. 1D characters. I think I expected more in my youth… I’ll try to catch some re-runs, my expectations have lowered with age.

(As little as I liked the show, I thought the man’s stand-up was worlds worst. His delivery was poor, and his observational humor was just so… blah. Maybe if I get some episodes and edit him out… when I think about what I didn’t like, he was in _every_ scene…)

For my money M*A*S*H was way better.

  20. Scott

I like mash too….too much drama in it though…but the first three seaons or so were tops.

Not calling you a sheep, just wondering why your tastes are so bad. :)

  21. Sebastiaan

    bring back BLOSSOM!

  22. Dave_Bukake

Sienfeld was good but I think Larry David is fantastic in Curb your enthusiasm. Another oldie but goldie is Frasier. That has some of best cringe moments of all the comedy programs I’ve seen.

RE: podcast Yep tried to do the update via right click, and nothing, but I unsubscribed and re-subscribed and it appears. Very strange

  23. Rezlow

OH NO YOU DIDN’T!!! Tastes bad… I’m special! (That’s what mom always said.)

Anyway (DEFLECTION) I _loved_ the Simpsons episode with Cecel (sp?) and Sideshow Bob… Those two are golden together.

    Re: Doctor Who

Yes, it is the first season of the new series. It played on BBC America last fall. Very enjoyable, very well written. Has everything from mannequins come to life to the end of the Earth (literally) to a great series of dalek episodes.
