We attempt to hit all the good stuff coming this year to all platforms, with a healthy dose of calls from you and what you wanna play before the year is out. Lots of great stuff here, and some good tangents as well.
uStream was hosed tonight but we will try a next week for the live stream.

In my comment post, I changed around my site, so the URL isn’t /blog
=/ Okay…
Yay listening
downloaded and ready to listen.. i’m still waiting for scott to spell my name right in his comments
I can’t believe you didn’t mention (Listened up to 1:02:50):
Half-Life 2: Episode 2
Team Fortress 2
Portal
Crysis
Gears of War Golf
Super Smash Brothers Brawl
The two I’m most looking forward to for the PC is Team Fortress 2 and Half-Life 2: Episode 2, and Super Smash Brothers Brawl for the Wii.
Other than that, brilliant show – made me laugh, as always =]
Hellgate: London looks really good too
I should start by saying I’m a Gran Turismo fanboy, so the prospect of GT5, or Vision GT, or whatever they’re gonna call it coming out had me really excited…until I saw the price of the PS3. I will not pay over $299 for one, therefore even if GT5 actually came out in 2007…which it won’t…I still wouldn’t buy it yet. GT excitement vaquished.
On the other hand, I have to agree with Scott about Tomb Raider Anniversary. I absolutely loved the original Tomb Raider and TR2…also Last Revelation. I haven’t been interested in the subsequent PS2 TR releases, but I will definately own TRA. The idea that I get to play the original with updated moves and visuals sounds like good times to me.
So uhm, just got through the show, (again
) and what do i hear? Scott claiming there is NOTHING going on on the PC game scene, have you EVER heard of “World in Conflict” by massive entertainment? it is probably the game i look forward to the most this year, a lot mor than SC2 and any other game you’ve mentioned this episode.
just look at the developer preview! (HD wmv)

Cool, core group show tonight guys. Enjoyed hearing about what games are coming and what you are excited about.
Phew, I was afraid BioShock wouldn’t get mentioned. Thanks for a good show.
For some reason I can’t get the show. It keeps coming up as an (!). Anyone know why?
try un-subscribe and then re-subscribe.
The show was great, I always love the dialog between you guys, and its always fun to laugh and smile at comments made. I must reiterate that this is my favorite podcast by far, being as you guys mention games and scenarios that are timeless and it makes me feel pretty much “in”. No one around here has ever played starcraft, or looks forward to games coming out!
Thanks again for the awesome show.
I myself would like to have heard about Guitar Hero III, but I didn’t have time to send a voice clip ;|!
“Guitar Hero 3 for the Playstation 2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii are currently scheduled for release in the United States in Fall of 2007.” That game is addicting and if they make more great songs, all the better!
As for Obsidian: This was a good show, but I must say I was shocked, no…. more so… Appalled that Obsidian, had never, ever, touched Starcraft nor seen it. It just stuck in my head. I hope he gets around to trying the single player missions, at least to see the movies. Even back then Blizzard was fantastic at setting the moods in-game. If not Obsidian watch them on some internet sites, that might have them.
Awesome show.
Shame about the PC ignorance at the end :/.
There is plenty going on, just because some gamers prefer to waste time on console-toys or WoW doesn’t mean the rest of us do.
The new Valve releases are going to be huge, so is WiC, Spore, Bioshock etc.
Umm… cool show and all but did I miss your segment on Hellgate: London? You can’t tell me you never played Diablo or Diablo II and the man behind both of these titles is crafting Hellgate. It’s one of the key titles I’m geeked out on.
CEJ
A little late to the party, but I’d have to agree with some of the posters above. WoW is certainly the king of PC games when it comes to a single title. But you could say the same thing about a lot of console games as well which have similar dominance.
I’m kind of surprised you guys didn’t mention Half-Life 2 Episode 2. Not so much for the HL2 part of the game, but for TEAM FORTRESS 2. That game has been what, 8 years now in coming? And if the previews and early hands-on reviews mean anything, it fortunately seems Valve has got it right, by sticking to the original’s light-hearted nature which made it such a cult classic to begin with.
