I don't watch series when they're on tv, but after they are out on dvd. For example i am only at season 2 of BSG. Of course this time is way too long for the shocker to be interesting at all, so it is rather a moot point. Either discuss them and have the occasional spoiler, or don't discuss episodic stuff and movies (and maybe even games) at all...I don't happen to care too much about spoilers in general. I'll have the occasional spoiler over a weekly ExtraLife with four people being silent for an hour anytime. I try to avoid them but it's not always possible. For instance, when i saw the message in this article about a certain BSG spoiler, i decided to skip this episode for now. But i did want to know just exactly how bad the spoiler was (because delaying the show for over a year seems rather excessive), so i went to the comments page. To make a long story short: now i know *exactly* how bad the spoiler was. On the upside, i can listen to the show now :)Thank you, 'Why oh Why'. :)

Actually if you want to give everyone the chance to have seen it, you should wait until the dvd set of the season has been out for a while. And, in case any didn't know this, the Spartan's really were gay. Really. I mean, as a rule. You see, the Spartan army included institutionalised homosexuality- younger soldiers were paired off with older ones, the theory being that they'd fight harder if they were fighting with someone they loved.
The Ancient Greeks had a rather different attitude to homosexuality than we traditionally do- they actually viewed it as quite masculine, and, in certain circles, it was seen as effeminate and girly to show too much of an interest in girls.

They talked about this on Digital Strips- I think Phil Kahn called them the “Animated Posthumous” or something like that. Ok, so they die, become corpses, yada yada yada. Then, they are RE-animated, meaning that they are no longer dead, but they are UN-dead. And for the record, you introduced the show as being on March 6, 2006.

Ok, I’m not an expert, but I have an idea as to why the zombies are called “Undead”.
