have not done the stickam thing since show 104….it has been nearly 20 episodes since we did it. My cam still no worky with the site and until then or until we find a similar service, the cam thing is on hold.
Narf, my iTunes downloaded the show, somehow stopped and I had a file that only had 3 minutes of play time. Now I was smart enough to delete it from iTunes and it won’t reload it or update the ELR podcast again :X
I downloaded the show now from the site but I’d like to have it in iTunes under the Podcasts. Anything I can do?
un-subscsribe and then resubscribe to the podcast…that will clear it.

TIVO does everything this Apple TV thing can do, and it also lets you record TV. With TIVO desktop you can transfer video files, movies, etc. right to your TIVO for playback on your TV. You can also store and play video recorded on your TIVO back on your PC. I own two TIVO’s and do this stuff all the time. Sorry Mr. Jobs but you are too little too late with this device.

On the i-pod/itunes issues, I, and many others, have been hit with an issue for the past day or so related to the latest software (Apple are getting a reputation for screwing things up a little…). Seems to be Mac related, preventing the content from being synced with the i-pod. Here is a suggested fix until they update again.

The only really dissapointing thing about Apple TV is that it’s 720p instead of 1080

How has this gone on for so long? Kevin Costner peed into a device that purified it, then he drank the purified pee and gave some to his plant (from a cup, he did not directly pee on the tree).
I still think he peed on the midget girl first.
Scott – TIVO is not way more money. Standard units are $99 or less. I got my second TIVO for $49. Yes, there is a monthly fee – but that pays for & gives you excellent guide info, favorites, season passes, THE ABILITY TO RECORD, etc…. I have never known anyone that tried and TIVO and didn’t like it. On top of all this – taking iTunes only or other Quicktime media and sending to “iTV” is a pretty limited use device. In my view, until it can record too it won’t really take off.

What’s with the absence of the show on the rss feed?
Strategy Guides are not cheating some puzzles and other things are a pain in the butt. People who use them for the entire game are cheating but for 3 puzzles in the entire game give me a break.

Walkthroughs and strategy guides are not cheating IMO. Games are meant to be fun. When you’ve exhausted all your brain can come up with and are still stuck in a game, it’s no longer fun. So at that point, it becomes neccesary to find out how to proceed and get back to having fun.
Walkthroughs and strategy guides would be cheating if there were no such thing as poorly-designed games. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

I am having some peoblems downloading the show from I-tunes… Rather lame because it downloads about 1 min and then just stops!! Rather lame!

Scott – you can’t compare an HD TIVO to this iTV. Again, TIVO can record. I think the iTV will have it’s place but I’m unsure about iTunes and the availability & choices of HD content – at least for now. The iTV is a simple player – nothing more. I’d much rather have my TIVO and a nice HDDVD player. Much better and more functional.
iTV will do well on brand alone. Just look at some of the figures from Xbox Live TV (or whatever they’re calling it).

As for cheaters, cut off their fingers and never let them game again. Seriously, it’s a game and you’re not competing against anyone but yourself. It’s like cheating at Solitaire.
