We are joined by special guest, Tom Merrit from CNET’s Buzz Out Loud podcast, (no that is not him in the photo, but this is), among many other things! Grateful he stopped by for our “best of year” episode. Brian is here as well…O had internet issues, but we felt his ghost with us each step of the way. We even make a sneaky call to Veronica Belmont towards the backend of the show.

Lots of great stuff so check it out!

Additional thanks to GoDaddy (codes LIFE1, LIFE2, and LIFE3), YouBuyNow.com, O, Brian, Scott Fletcher, Rob Goobers, Skyhawk, Sebastiaan van Dijk, various contributors, and YOU!

Seems a lot of regulars are winning prizes these days. And some are winning Enterprises.

For the record, NCC-1701-D is the Next Generation / Jean Luc Picard – Randy Deluxe Enterprise.

Scott, you like post-apocalyptic settings and seem to have a fetish for old-timey things from the 40’s and 50’s, so I was absolutely surprised that Fallout 3 didn’t have more of an impact with you this year. Maybe next time!

  8. indiejones

Ooops, my bad, you mentioned Fallout 3 literally right after I posted this as something you haven’t gotten to yet. I hope you enjoy it; it’s got a real quirky charm to it. And exploding heads, also!

That chase that you guys were talking in Indy 4 about was filmed in New Haven, Connecticut, about 1 hour from me. it was filmed on location at Yale, where Indy teaches.

After about 20 minutes the thing just stops and starts from the beginning again.

    not in my world.

Yeah, I didn’t think so. Probably just didn’t fully load or something.

You should have that Tom Merit guy on more.

Nice show, various subjects kept it interesting. Also surprised you haven’t played Fallout 3 yet. I recommend firing it up a.s.a.p. There’s so much to love about that game, I already spent over 60 hrs on it. Started out with a bad character and started a good character after finishing the game.

Scott, I really enjoyed hearding Tom on the show. It’s always fun having a guest on the show. You really should try to have a 4th host every week. You could rotate Randy, Len, Tom, Veronica, the gal from manic mommies, maybe you could even get Andrew to come back for a show.. Not trying to say you, Brian, and O don’t do a great job, but it’s always fun to mix in another person.

I don’t know what yall are talking about. Fallout 3 was the worst game ive ever played.EVER. i’d rather play animal crossing on the wii for 48 hours straight then play 1 minute of fallout 3. i know alot of gamers and they all immediatly brought that game to gamestop after 1 day
