My 360 is running SOOOO hot lately. I swear something might finally be giving up the ghost. Either way, there is this thought.

If you install games to your hard drive, it will run cooler AND quieter. Also, the new “Jasper”, and the upcoming “Valhalla” models use less power and are constructed better and are thus cooler.

My 360 has always been ‘hot’, but I asked some friends who also had one and they say the 360 feeling ‘hot’ is ‘normal’.

My housemate and I used his 360 as a space heater during the cold Edmonton winter – it worked disturbingly well

You just need to buy a some thermal paste and re-apply it to your processor. Cost £2/$3.
