They are lucky to have a tech geek dad who can record and edit a good home movie. I bet technologically it will be a lot easier to be able to show that to your Grandkids 30 years from than it was for our Grandparents to pass down any of their recorded media. Yeah for digital!

Oh man! What a GREAT film. My wife and I would LOVE to be sledding in Utah! Instead, we’re in cloudy,
but dry and fairly mild London. No snow anywhere on the horizon! And it’s TOO warm. Boo! I don’t think I can show my wife this clip as she keeps bugging me to emigrate as it is. The argument that I run a business here is gonna stop working sometime soon!!

That’s snow I remember from being a kid, forts sledding and all… doesn’t snow like that here anymore in Jersey. I want my kids to experience that! lol OK, I admit, I want to experience it with them.

lol.. Perhaps you should have brought some Kool-aid or something to mark up the snow for that “jump” she was trying to make. Just have to remember that the yellow snow is NOT Kool-aid if you just happen to taste some….

It’s so flat there… We have some nice hills in the green mountains (Vermont) well, technically, we have some nice mountains…
Looks like it was a lot of fun! My parents don’t do those things with me, then again, they aren’t so young anymore, so they generally just send me packing with some friends. No complaints here.
I’m sure everyone else thinks of some rock or metal song whenever they see fun snow stuff like this. For some reason, I always think of Gauraldi’s “Skating”. (It’s probably because I have A Charlie Brown Christmas CD on repeat a lot lately… though, that doesn’t explain the rest of the year… though again, there’s usually no reason to think of it the rest of the year. No?)

I have a few things I would like to say, if that’s alright.
- Scott…I…I don’t have words to describe how good seeing these makes me feel. Please, please, PLEASE don’t stop posting them. They bring me great joy on more levels than I could even begin to describe, or even completely understand.
- Are you and Kim too old to be considered a “cute couple”? I ask this because, being 19, I lack the nomenclature necessary to express how happy you both seem with each other. It seems like (while admittedly I have only seen only what you’ve shown) this is the best times of both of your lives so far…would I be right in that assessment?
