Re: Twitter: Surely you have had cough medicine as a kid. You’re like 1.5 years older than me so you probably had tasted alcohol whether you knew it or not. Because of that, alcohol reminds me of bad-tasting medicine (that would make me choke rather than stop coughing). Nasty stuff. No buzz could be worth that.

Scott, it’s just unusual to be a man of your age (which is like…wow)
and not have tasted alcohol. There’s alcohol in the world, there’s people in the world, eventually they come together.
I don’t drink much, my parents don’t drink at all now, were never big drinkers when they were young. Even at that there was a time when Dad said “hey let’s try some microbeers” when I was about 12, and they let me have a taste and it was all gross.
The surest way to keep your kids off alcohol is to give them a drink when they are young.
Scott, no worries. I’m 27 and I never had alcohol. The #1 reaction I get from people is usually, “Oh…is it a religious thing?” Then I say no, the say, “Well, good for you. You don’t mind if I do, do you?”
For me, it’s just a personal choice. No real desire to look like a jackass when I’m drunk…I do that just fine sober, thank you. No worries dude!
