I know I’m a bit late to the party, and I’m glad you have seen that we appreciate Diary, but I figured I would see if I can quantify why I like it.

1. It’s short. I love listening to podcasts when doing chore stuff around the unit (I’m 23, no family), and even if a task will take 10 minutes, I love using the time to listen to something.
2. Your personality shows, and it is inspiring and uplifting. Unless Diary is all an act, which is highly unlikely, you are an amazingly genuine guy who is trying to be the best husband, dad and person that he can be. You have a good sense of humour, and a fun-loving attitude. In particular, your reflections on family life and fatherhood are really inspiring and honestly make me ache for when I meet my future wife and have the privilege of being a father.
3. Great mix of topics – from the great questions of life, to the struggle of how to be a good dad (something I even think about, even though I am presumably a long way from being a father), to mundane stuff like Walmart (which is fascinating to me since we don’t have them yet in Australia).

There are other reasons I specifically gravitate towards DOAC in iTunes, I’m sure, but you get the idea. If you still have lingering doubts about doing it, despite all the positive feedback, hopefully this is one more voice to encourage you to pull out that recorder, and capture your life and musings.

Just catching up on the diary. Gotta say, it’s wonderful that you do these little tidbits. It’s interesting to hear someone’s most mundane thoughts in another part of the world. It’s interesting because it’s the same, but different. That sounded better in my head, but I’ll stand by what I typed!

I take it as an audible twitter. I assume the number of downloads will let you know if you are saying anything worth listening to. As for myself, I like the very casual style you share whatever is on your mind and I find myself relating to most every subject in some way. Keep it up.

I just found and really like the podcast. For me it is Creative Talk. I work in front of a computer hacking away, and dig having you around. Part of creativity and sharing/sparking it is just doing it. The is the Scott “Just Do It” podcast.

Also your take and views are worthwhile to me. It has value, I never wait my time, so trust it is something you should do.

I cannot put a finger on why you should keep doing it, but you really really really should. It has importance.

Also if you stop I will steal your refrigerator.
