Especially when painting with such a wide brush. I mean, for the sake of argument, let's cut out the "it is a dead animal" factor. But, once you see the conditions they live in (seriously, visit a factory farm some day) can you really not have a problem with that? However, from what i read from the rest of your post, i got that you meant things like free-range meat, "the high test stuff," which is the closest to vegetarian ok meat out there. Also, on a seperate note, yes, PETA can be crazy sometimes. Their people say dumb things and put on airs often. HOWEVER, there are a lot of REALLY nice people in PETA out there, who dont ask if you eat meat or not, they just want to see animals being treated ok. It phases some people how hamburgers and hot dogs are made, and there's the health aspect one needs to keep in mind. Un/Fortunately, I'm not in either of those groups.
