Just have to think that the portal gun would do things for W.C. that would change his entire outlook.
What a faithful homage to icon of old and new. Beautiful.
I was just watching classic Looney Tunes with a friend over the weekend. Fantastic pairing in the comic! Oh the hijinks of one, While E. Coyote. (Super Genius)
Did he order it from ACME? If so the road runner will still be able to run through the portal and evade all harm while Wile E. Coyote would attempt to enter the portal but hit a wall. It never fails but the poor guy never wins.
Excellent job on this one Scott!
I bet this was originally going to be a 3 panel comic too, but you were like “fuck it, I’mma play portal 2 now”
This really shows your kick arse art skills. You amaze me.
This is utterly incredible. Beautiful and made me giggle. Acme tools have gotten better over the years!
Bravo Mr. Johnson. My favorite as of yet.
Instant classic. Bravo.
Wiley Coyote looks traced. That’s a compliment, not a scathing remark. It looks that way because you’re such an awesome artist and can draw him from scratch whereas I need 5 book on “How to Draw Properly” it even get the head to look right ;_;
Heh, just missed the Acme/Aperture science logo mashup on the portal gun
that calls for a story arc
I like the comic wish I could see how exactly the portal gun is to be used. Blue feathery splatter. Yeah.
Orange end goes in road, blue end goes into mouth, hilarity ensues (probably because the Roadrunner it’s gonna be riding on a truck).
Great comic, but I can’t help but wonder…is it even legal to sell prints of this? Won’t either Warner Brothers or Valve put a stop to this if they find out? Not that I want them to, of course.
He’s not selling them, he’s taking donations and as a “thank you” for donating you get a free print.
Great print but, You sure you’re allowed to profit from that image? W.C is the IP of WB I think.
Fair use dude
Fair use doesn’t cover maying money from someone else’s intellectual property. The comic itself is probably fine, but I don’t think selling prints is protected by fair use laws. Probably the worst thing that could happen is that Scott would get a C&D letter though.
Do you think comedians does parodies for free? + I want a print!
Hmmm…actually, you guys make a good point. Honestly, it was a force of habit when I put that print code in the post. But either way, you guys are right. Removing the print buying option.
Brilliant! One of your best ones, Scott.
Love it! You really nailed the art style!
Absolute genius Scott. Love your work!
Fantastic Scott, Your drawing talents and skills are insane
love it. just perfect.
Legendary strip. Bravo!
So, is Aperture Science one of the R&D divisions of ACME? And is he going to be able to order the long fall boot as well? Because if not I foresee other problems in the future of one Wile E. Coyote (Super Genius).
Great comic Scott. This is why I keep coming back.
That’s a brilliant piece of work; my hat is off to you!
As a fan-fiction nut, I just stick a humorous but sincere disclaimer on it and hope for the best—it’s all open and free. So far no one’s bothered me about Pepé Le Pew chasing Snarf around.
If worse came to worse, I think the parody rules apply here.
Any chance you could post up some common resolution sizes of this for wallpapers? I would love to have this on both my netbook, and my home pc.
netbook – 1024×600 home pc – 1920×1080 and 1680×1050
Awesome job, by the way!!
I agree with you Wendell. Since we can’t buy a print (I would have) could we please get some higher rez options?
I want more of this!!
It really should say “ACME Science” on the gun.
Are those mountains in the background Utahian? Possible #UtahConnection !?!?
It’s actually a great and helpful piece of info. I’m glad that you just shared this useful information with us. Please keep us informed like this. Thank you for sharing.
So good- I love the old coyote vrs road runner cartoons, and this concept is genius!
please please please make this a desktop background! it would be so awesome.
Absolutely Awesome; Incredible work Scott!
I’m sad this isn’t being sold. Crap! Why do you hafta be so fricken ethical!!!!!
Now that I think about it, this is parody. Sell away!
That’s brilliant. The Free Birdseed is a lie!
You should really make a print available of this one. I would actually buy it, and put it in my living room.
Nice! I definitive would pay some bucks for a wallpaler & poster!
Finally caught up
I don’t get it. I’ve been coming to this site for at least 4 years now. It has become a sick intrest of mine. To see these terrible web comics continuously get positive comments just facinates me. I guess its like watching a dog poo. It’s horrible but you gotta see what comes out just in cast it’s something awesome.
Why do you still visit the comic if you don’t enjoy it?
Why do you keep visiting the comic then?
* in case it’s something awesome. nothing kills a point like a typo.
Gratz Scott!!!: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/23/weekly-webcomic-wrapup-is-hiding-its-eggs/
Any chance of a larger image for use as a wallpaper?
Grats Scott. Joystiq found out what we already know. Frogpants rule!
