Fateful day, this. Of all the bars, in all the cities…these two had to meet in this one. BOOP!

    Mario & Wario ?

  2. Robot Chicken says:

I see Wario lost some weight.

  3. Software2 says:

Wario used to be awesome. Mario games where your goal isn’t to save a princess, but to make money.
Now… 3 second minigame after 3 second minigame.

And oh! Waluigi? The worst thing he’s ever done in his life required you to dance to defeat him.

  4. Vorguees says:

jHehe, nice one, liked the new site theme!

  5. Lifeisaglitch says:

Scott you have to do them fat. Nice work on the expressions though :)

  6. Eric says:

I prefer the world “Blork!” (It’s an away message on my personal IM manager.)

Yeah. I always thought Wario was quite a bit fatter than Mario, but then, I remember that Wario and Mario are both fat and therefor Wario is really only a little fatter than Mario, so in this case, based on a thinner design of Mario (which there are many), it makes sense that Wario isn’t as fat (though I can’t recall ever seeing a thin Wario).

Now, “Trouble Brewing” reminds me of situations that should never have been allowed in the first place, but were rather deliberate on someone’s part, usually out of ignorance. i.e. Tea-cup poodle contest next to a falconer’s convention; parachute landing zone next to an alligator farm (with one of the jumpers obviously not prepared very well); dingo kennel next to a day-care… (props to Gary Larson). However, this says “there’s trouble brewing” instead.

Perhaps, being similar and opposite, they both always went to the same bar, but at opposite times. Given the little I know, Wario will start the conflict by throwing nuts or seeds (or whatever those are) at Mario. Perhaps one or two for annoyance, but I see it escalating into handfuls, spilled drinks, broken chairs, bruises, knives, guns, blood, death, undeath, world domination, world obliteration, galactic conquests… Wait. They’ve already done that. No?

    thats sooo greaat!!!!!

  8. I *love* the mario vs mario running theme… good play on the cliché.

This would make a good dual screen wallpaper… can you make one in 3360*1050?

  10. BIGGIN says:

Great comic. Mario always seemed like a wine cooler guy to me though. =P

  11. Michael says:

Why is Mario’s left hand so freakin short? it should have at least of had a bent in it. Also, why does my wiener itch so bad?

  12. Labbug says:

wow Eric…you really thought that out . o_O
    lol

  13. brian_d says:

Eric just likes to think the big picture here. Since Mario Galaxy is practically Mario’s venture into interplanetary travel. It’s to be expected that Wario might want in on some of that action.

  14. Yidoc says:

i would REALLY like to see a wallpaper of this.

  15. Bearbutt says:

Why is Mario’s left hand so freakin short? it should have at least of had a bent in it.
How do you know it doesn’t, but that the plane of the arm is not aimed directly at the “camera lens”?

Also, why does my wiener itch so bad?
    Something’s biting it.

  16. That guy in the corner. says:

I actually had no idea who the guy in yellow was until I scrolled down the main page and seen the “Your code please…” picture….

  17. Kainti says:

    I really like this one…odd.

  18. Paul says:

    Brilliant!

My developer is trinyg to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on a number of websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it? Any help would be really appreciated!
