For your halloween pleasure.
Yay! Zombies! You win the inter-webz today Scott.
Well, Solanum is the traditional name for the the diaesse in zombie circles. I called it Solanum before I ever read Brooks. I also call it Romero-Fulci diaesse elsewhere in the test. Also in that question I go beyond anything Brooks is willing to claim in his book. The diaesse CAN be considered an STD, but Brooks refuses to go that far in his book. So, again – I don\’t see Brooks as authoritative, but I do think that his book represents a lot of practical realities about zombie survival that are often ignored. But on the test I do often disagree with what he has to say.
Wouldn’t that be GOOD news for a Zombie to hear? My assumption was that smart brains were tastier than dumb ones. 😉
nice one. i think it is time to do a whole buncha zombie comics.
LOVE it! 😀
@Sander – the zombie isn’t the one who is about to have an unfortunate day…
I’d think smart brains would make a zombie more alive, and be a good thing.
But I likes it anyway!
Hey thanks! Always glad to talk to otrhes with similar interests. I hope I can add some great info for anyone looking for it. You have a great site as well!
It’s a rare treat for zombies to find a smart brain, so they relish the moment. (I blame society.)
The paragon of unnndstaedirg these issues is right here!
Maybe IQ is like calories. But then again I dont care about calories so it wouldnt matter if i was the zombie.
you guys have it backwards. Its only bad for the dude with the high IQ. Perhaps I could have worded that differently.
Ok, maybe it’s just me, but if he is so smart, then why did he let a zombie overhear him say that?
Ooooh it’s a zombie! I thought it was just an old geezer – but then again, that’s pretty much the same, innit?
Scott this is an AWESOME comic… <3
Wait… Hold up.. Smart brains are not tastier.
Think of it this way, If you get a piece of steak that is all stringy, it’s because the cow ran around a lot…. Now the best steaks come from the cows that do nothing but eat and don’t get any work out time. i.e., baby calfs chained to the floor so they don’t toughen up the meat.
Anyway, I would say a large dumb brain tops a tight hard working one any day.
Take it from me… I’m a vampire.
I don’t get most of your comic, or at least i don’t find it funny.
Maybe I’m looking at them wrong or there are some hidden meanings.
so in my guess the reason its regrettable for the guy to say that next to a zombie is because the zombie will eat his brain, thus obtaining his intelligence? Thats just mediocre
Joe. Did you get Wednesdays? How about Mondays? How about anything in the last 8 years?
No worries. Perhaps it’s not for you. You might look for a comic that better suits your sensibilities. Best of luck!
LOL @ Joe
No, joe, the high IQ is because his brain is BIGGER, which means more food for the zombie who is having a good day and the guy is having a bad day, which I thought would be obvious because he’s the one getting his brains eaten. Anyways, I know you were just trying to let Scott know he’s not funny, but at least you could have gotten that aspect of the comic correct.
I don’t understand the comic because I worry about Zombies eating my brain if I make myself S.M.R.T. enough to find the hidden meanings.
Ooh! Look at the funny pictures!
CRAP! This is Halloween (which would explain why I’m dressed like this)! No more spooky-themed cartoons? NNNNnnnoooooOOOOOOOOOoooooo!
smarter brains with all the neurons and synapses and such might make a zombie gassy, though. Nobody wants to endure The Fert of the Living Dead.
At least the zombie won’t go hungry. But I bet brains don’t taste that great.
I would think smart brains are more filling as they are full of deep thoughts and weighty matters. Not-smart brains are probably light and airy like angel food cake (which is always the most disappointing cake for me).
zombies eat flesh
but still pretty funny
Either the line at the top changed, or I finally grew a brain of my own. It IS funny!!
Huh. I never noticed that box of text at the top of the frame. I guess I don’t have to worry about zombies eating my brain.
