I don’t know what movie this is referencing. On an unrelated note, to the best of my knowledge there are only three Star Wars movies, and three Indiana Jones movies. And George Lucas died in 1994.

Must be my monitor. I look at it at a different angle, and it does appear more reddish. Before it just looked brown. Or maybe I’m just slightly colorblind. Makes a lot more sense in red

I’m a huge 3D guru, and lover of well-done 3D. No 3D CONVERSION (which is what this is) has ever been anything but pure crap. I’m staying away from this. You couldn’t PAY me to see it.

I’m not going to lie – there is a 80% chance that I wall go see Phantom Menace in 3D when it comes out. And I will hate myself for doing it.

I’d rather see them do NEW things in 3D than continue to desecrate the good stuff.
Clone wars 3D? Maybe a pre-prequel in 3D? Dunno, but this is wrong. Not quite Episode I wrong, but approaching it. Or it will just be window dressing like adding useless CGI bits to the original three movies.

So far, no one’s cornered the market on comics about marketing 3D to pirates with eye patches. You could be The One.
I didn’t understand this comic at all, even after reading the description. I had to come to the comments and read them just to get the joke: that they are remaking the prequel Star Wars movies in 3-D and only bad things are expected from it. I tend to avoid all things Star Wars so I had no idea who the character was coming out of the screen and had not heard anything about them remaking the movies.
Also, I agree with Deacon above – the first time I looked at it, I was confused by the fact that his blood was brown. It was only after I read the comics and adjusted the angle that I was looking at it does it sort of look red. I’m not trying to be overly critical, Scott, it’s just a problem that I wanted you to know was not exclusive to just one reader.
