About this comic
I often think of those days when the big fight was between Sega and Nintendo, and the little blue blur vs the reliable red plumber. Those days are gone, and what a weird time it is for both these companies right now. (Nintendo’s latest sad news.) Some are suggesting that this is finally the time for Nintendo to branch out and support other platforms. While I think I’m ok with that, I would never take any advice from Sonic The Hedgehog, that’s for sure.
Sad but true…
Hey, Sonic still has a successful franchise.
…actually I guess that depends on who you ask. I’d say no, I’ve been to deviantart.
I miss the Sega vs Nintendo battle.
I wonder if it would ever be possible for Sega to re-enter the hardware market? Doubt it, unfortunately.
The blame falls on those games being shitty though, not their ability to be on multiple platforms.
I love Sonic and I love Mario but… Sonic games are in general hit or miss. Mario games have been consistently awesome.
Kinda the same with Sega consoles. Aside from the Genisis, Sega didn’t really soar. Nintendo’s been just the opposite: a couple of set-backs on an otherwise endless winning streak. If they can turn things around before, they can do it again.
Great article, exactly what I wanted to find.
