Show me the money

About this comic

I still don’t get it. Bitcoin I mean. Best explanation came from my buddy Tom Merritt on an episode of TMS a couple weeks back, and even still, I kinda have no idea how this is the thing people claim it is. So, thought it would be time to have a little fun with it in comic form. Enjoy!

I agree that Tom Merritt gave the clearest explanation I’ve ever heard.

I thought Conan’s explanation was spot on

If you don’t understand because you’re old, I’ll join you in your oldness.

    Ignorantly yours,

I’m with Scott. I don’t know anything about them and I don’t want to.

If I was held up like this: “ehmm still have no idea what you are talking about Mr… I got some WoW gold can you use that?”

  6. Foxlore says:

So wait, you mean it’s not about cutting up US coins into little bits? Maaaan,…time wasted! ;-)

  7. Falos says:

Wow, that wikipedia page has seen a lot of edits.

  8. Warren Buffett said that he doesn’t invest in anything he doesn’t understand, which is why he stayed clear of the whole dot-com bubble thing.

I like the concept of Bitcoin, but I wouldn’t touch it because in the end, it’s really nothing. At least with gold, you have something heavy and shiny if mankind declares it valueless.

    • Falos says:

      Hey, don’t knock paper money, it’s a valuable fire-starter and butt-wiper.

No really, that’s actually happened to currencies gone worthless or defunct.

In ancient times, the intrinsic value of salt gave it preference in bartering.

  9. Ugh, I’m over 40. Am I really going to have to learn what a Bitcoin is? :P

  10. I merely weren’t able to go away your website prior to advising that we essentially liked the standard data a person offer your friends and family? Will probably be yet again generally in order to examine cross-check brand new content

    So good!

  12. Rosie says:

    The word is spelled “referred.”
