About this comic

Seeing Pacific Rim tonight. Pretty excited about it actually. Got to thinking about how old people might perceive the kinds of big event movies we seem to have coming out every weekend in the summer. It’s not quite like the old days, is it?

So yeah…this comic is about that more than anything else. I’ll report back on what I thought of the film, probably on Twitter, Facebook, and on the FP Spoiler Show. I’ll let you know either way.

Enjoy!

Scott, I caught the late show at the local full-size IMAX house in Phoenix last night with my brother and nephew. It was AMAZING. I totally recommend going for IMAX on this one.

Come on, GIANT ROBOTS vs. GIANT MONSTERS?? What’s not to like?

Nice. I was just asking my wife why old people pull their pants up so high. (I’m in Tokyo, and it’s an international phenomenon). Must be some conspiracy. Robuts… hehe.

I $h!t you not, there was a (I hope) made-for-TV movie on last night (Slice or Spike, I don’t know) called “Atlantic Rim”. I giggled quite loud, but could only watch a few scenes.

Hi Tom – Can you please add back the list of other Oracle & ratleed sites you frequent? (It was in the right-hand column, now it’s not.) I was using the blog page as a handy on-topic links page and never bookmarked them.
