    Good one!

This reminds me of a short story I read many years ago about archaeologists in the distant future finding—of all things—television commercial reels. I think it was Ray Bradbury, or possibly Isaac Asimov. In it, they’re hearing “the ancient tongue” spoken for the first time, and what they’re describing is McDonald’s and Pepsi commercials. There was a bit of a stretch describing children as possibly a subspecies of human, but the main message was they decided we ancient humans were quite insane, and if memory serves, they decided not to share their findings with the general public. I imagine aliens seeing our TV broadcasts might come to the same conclusion.

  3. There uniforms are rad. Or is that the way all people dress? Sci-Fi has us all dressing in jump suits in the future. You nailed it.

Seriously though does anyone even have a punch card reader to see what was programmed on punch cards, much less would any that were written back in the day still be in good enough condition to be read if someone did have a working punch card reader? How many people have a working 3.5″ floppy drive, or a 5 1/4″ working drive? LOL!
