Love it, but as a current reader of these books, isn’t the man in the yellow hat supposed to have a yellow hat?
Or maybe that’s the milkman.
Ok, that’s the man in green from the skyscraper window washing book.
Should have called it “Angry George”. Just look at all the “Angry [fill in the blank here]” title being developed on the iOS App Store.
Isn’t that Hundley’s owner, the Doorman? #KidsWatchThatShow #ISwearIt
Oh wow! It just jumps of the screen, very nice Scott!!!!!
In the animated series, the man in green is Mr. Glass and is voiced by the legendary Rob Paulsen!!
Rob Paulsen aka the voice of Yakko Warner from the Animaniacs!
I think Scott’s trying to avoid a repeat of the Penny Arcade/American Greetings incident.
That being said, well done.
Awesome – I was wondering what you were gonna do when you said you had an idea for Furious George on TMS.
I’m currently listening to TMS time delayed. I’m super impressed at how fast you got this out. I’m really digging this.
Scott, the more comics I see from you that look like this the more you remind me of one Gary Larson. I am a big fan of the Far Side so it is nice to see these sort of comics still out there.
Not that it’s a super complex idea, and I’m sure Scott came up with this independently, but Google up “Evan Dorkin Furious George” and see what happens.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes!
That’s hilarious, that is what I have called Curious George for as long as I can remember.
Furious George is the name of Mr. Burns’ monkey in the episode where the Simpsons houses for Mr. Burns and they take his yacht into international waters where monkey knife fights aren’t illegal.
Also in Planet of the Apes the scarred monkey that got the new drug was totally Furious George
