Form of, a depressing end

About this comic

They really were the worst characters of any saturday morning cartoon you could ask for. No idea why they were included in the DC universe in that way, and I don’t know if they have any deeper history than that, but what a stupid pair. And that monkey, Gleek. What the H, man. Anyway, I figure, everyone has to go one day, and this seemed as likely an end as any.

In other news, make sure you check out the new print I put in the store, featuring the good Doctor. :) And thanks for the continued nice comments and emails about the site update. Got a few tweaks to make here and there, but for the most part, could not be happier with the results. :) Hope you all have a great weekend!

UPDATE: The “random” option for the comic has been re-added, and some of the layout has been tweaked to look better on full screen high-rez monitor viewing. Enjoy!

Oh, and in case you missed it, Nerdtacular 2013 tickets are now on sale!

  1. Not a cool character?! They started the evolution of fist bumping. How cooler can you get than that? ;)

  2. Mwahahahaa!

Actually, there was a memorable scene with them in the Super Friends comic. They were trying to live a normal life in a high school, and pass themselves off as blond siblings from Sweden. One of the local guys suspected something was off, and kept spying on them. Well, the twins decided to mess with him, and turned down an alley. This is what’s so memorable about it:

The guy was entered the alley and saw it was full of water right to the edge of the street, and in the water was Jayna as a classic topless mermaid (seen from behind.)

That never would have flown on the TV show!

and I see Gleek chucked three farewell presents for them in the bowl :P

  4. Nestor says:

You’re kind of right. They were the like the Aphrodite from Mazinger, complete useless. But the fist bumping was priceless! You could always bother any two people about to shake hands :o)

  5. lurker says:

Was it a “fist bump” or was it a power activation via a similar motion to “fist bump”? *WONDER TWIN POWER ACTIVATE* if my memory serves me right (which it prob doesn’t)

  6. LOL, Love your style Scott. Thanks.
