I tweeted this yesterday. I thought it might look good as a comic. So there you have it.

  1. I love the Sim City series. But I think I’ll wait until Origin gets their stuff together before I try the new one out.

  2. Jack says:

    I think Sim City is a good game. Origin Has work to do of course, but it works fine and I don’t mind using it.

  3. Shylor says:

    Oh you nailed it on this one. I hated Origin before, but now I will not even slightly suggest the piece of (yeah you get the picture). I love the new SimCity, and I can understand a little difficulty during the launch. It is just to bad EA had to make it worse. LONG LIVE STEAM!

    • Jack says:

      Well… can’t argue there! <3 Steam. </3 Origin. But it's not so bad that I won't play Sim City because of it.

      Now if it was on GFWL…

  4. LostSoul says:

    They can’t hear you complaining over the sound of all the money you just gave them. Durr? Just sayin’ is all.

  5. As it turns out, there is a cheatcode to turn off that disaster!

    $app = Get-WmiObject -Class Win32_Product | Where-Object {
    $_.Name -match “Origin”
    }

    $app.Uninstall()

    ((Just kidding… that’s a Powershell script which should uninstall Origin. Credit to Jeff Hillman in a Stack Overflow post.))

  6. lurker says:

    Origin is EA’s “Steam” . Why would they want to have Valve’s Steam get all the digital selling marketplace? I use Steam since the start, and I remember all the same people screaming when they had to use Steam. Can’t blame EA for cutting the middle man out to get more profits. Only reason I use Origin is cause Battlefield 3, Dead Space, and Mass Effect. As far as launches… I’ve seen worse.

    Are you feeling like you do not have the car you deserve?
