About this comic

Man I love me some GoT on TV, and I adore the books. They sure like to add a little of that HBO business to things. Amiright? 😉

We all know what HBO’s business is, adding the business.

  2. Ken says:

Yeah, I watched the first episode of Season 2 and thought, “Maybe they’re not going to have as many nude scenes this season.” Then episode 2 happened.

  3. Joshua S Hill says:

OK. So I’m a bit confused on this whole matter. If you’ve read the books, and paid attention, and then watched the show, why are you confused? The book has as many – if not more sex scenes in it as the TV show. I’m confused.

    • Scott says:

Agreed. Not sure what the brouhaha is about.

      • Abel says:

Yeah. I found myself being more nvitagee in this post then I originally thought I’d be, but getting into the subtext of “Tutorial” as I wrote about it revealed how juvenile and obnoxious it really is. It’s a fun story to read, I’ll admit, but not always for the reasons Langan intended.

    • Coyote says:

Not sure. There sure is a lot of sex, but I don’t remember Littlefinger having that many scenes tending to business…

  4. Julerus says:

I’m finding season 2 to diverge from the books quite a bit more. Not necessarily in bad ways. I think they’re staying true to the important points of the story. But they are definitely skipping over stuff.

And I agree with Joshua. There’s plenty of sex in the books. 🙂

  5. Guido says:

Why are we skimming over the obvious here? There are fish… watching HBO… underwater? I just can’t get past the physics, man!

  6. Donnerberg says:

How are these hot, rich actors supposed to get laid if they can’t do it on TV? Preposterous, Scott, Preposterous!

  7. randy says:

honestly i like the sex. i know, i’m a perv, whatever. i don’t watch the show with my grandma or my 5 year old kids. i don’t have any complaints, i like it. in fact, more Daenerys please.

  8. Orror says:

hey randy I’m with ya. It’s aimed at a particular audience and ya know what, I’m a part of that audience. more boobs plz

  9. Tim says:

Fitting that someone called “Randy” is a proponent of the sex scenes! =P

  10. jim says:

Knowing Martins involved with the show, and that he has worked in TV before I’m less adverse to changes. But I still think Clash and Storm should be two seasons each.

  11. Lugonn42 says:

Argh! Screenwriter: “We need an actress who is willing to squeef a black shadow assassin”
Casting: “No problem. we’ll get some Dutch actress they’re used to such pervy things in the Netherlands.”
    On the other hand:
Best boobies this season sofar? >> Carice van Houten 😀 << Dutch mamelons FTW!

  12. Game of Thrones? More like: “Game of Bones”

  13. MadJo says:

After seeing the first episode of the first season, can’t say anyone should be surprised about the nudity in Game Of Thrones.

  14. Rezlow says:

Yeah, I’ve picked up a couple of things left out. Like the drowning rituals; I always thought that was a cool section of the books. But as a story by itself, the show still fills complete with a lot of moving parts.
