  1. Jon Jagger says:

Has a very profound commentary on the way human beings self centered views often effect more than just ourselves. Or am I just thinking way too much about this?

  2. tyler says:

Good stuff as always. Always get a good laugh when ever ya post a new comic thanks

  3. Final says:

No, I totally agree Jon, even if that wasn’t necessarily the point.

Plus it’s hilarious when the second guy gets smooshed.

  4. Bearbutt says:

This reminds me of Scott’s last ELTV animation “Crash” made a year ago. Sort of.

  5. HECTORtheTURTLE says:

You can keep your social commentary. All I know is that it made me giggle! :-D Love it!

  6. Brian Duff says:

Life has it’s ups and downs. Irony is what happens when you find humor in a bad situation. :)

  7. jawbonerforlife says:

    opposites attract.

  8. koko says:

hahaha, this is freaking HILARIOUS :D .

  9. Ben says:

This is one of the coolest one. A great nihilistic tone. Very entertaining.

Not to mention that the body in the second panel is pure gold. Simple, smiling death.

  10. Rezlow says:

    Murder suicide = sad.
    Suicide murder = Simpsons-funny.

    XD

  11. I like your portrayal of the mush those two individuals made when they crossed paths. lol! Funny stuff.

  12. Asterix says:

Fantastic work Scott! There is a lot of truth in your comic!

  13. Masterwabbit says:

There’s just something… not funny about that. I see the humor, but I’m not laughing for some reason. Must be a case of the mondays…

  14. Zorbane says:

The ending is gross!! Enjoyed the comic.

  15. Izaak says:

And in the next comic there will be a mysterious man selling canned meat sauce…

  16. w0m says:

    My favorite in a while… Nice :)

  17. mercator says:

    Wow. Very profound!

I see ‘hello world,’ I think of the first chapter of any programming language I ever tried to master…

  18. mercator’s comment inspired me to change my ‘learning a programming language’ protocol. From here on out, my first program in each new language will be the obligatory “Goodbye Cruel World” application.

  19. Diego S. says:

some sort of a cyanide and happiness influence here :P

  20. Eric says:

Last frame makes me hungry. I think I’m coming down with a bad case of the Zombies.

Zombie Dad (gotta be a lot better than Ghost Dad)
    Zombie Family

  21. Pineapple Farmer says:

That’s depressing, you’ve got a troubled mind. Maybe you should see a therapist before you murder your family in your sleep or something.

EDIT BY SCOTT: Dude…why bother posting in the comments? Stuff like that will just get your stuff deleted.

  22. Eric says:

Actually, they make jokes like this all of the time in entertainment, and people get paid millions for it. That’ll cure anyone’s troubles. :D

  23. Colin says:

    ewwwww……

  24. Can I get that on a t-shirt?

  25. Scott says:

nope, but you can get a signed color print! :)

  26. Rhett says:

Am I the only one that found joking about suicide kinda inappropriate?

  27. Rhett says:

At any rate it was interesting just slightly disturbing.

  28. Rezlow says:

Looking at it again, it reminds me of Lemmings… I loved that game. “Oh Noooooooooooo! *pop*”

  29. Gaudemaus says:

but..but..don’t two negatives make a positive. Does this mean the zombie sequel is inevitable.

  30. @Rhett: I think that we are all sensitive to that, though I didn’t feel any sympathy for these two. The stylized, blocky drawing style of this cartoon dehumanizes the characters and allows us to view the situation from a more philosphical perspective. That’s also why you can get away with just about ANYTHING when drawing stick figures.

(Ah, stick figures…. those poor bastards.)

  31. Rhett says:

I wasn’t trying to be critical and perhaps I’m just personally sensitive. I do think your drawing way too much out of a comic strip though. Making the argument that its ok because its a philosophical statement is just being silly. At any rate its more of a negative than a positive comic since philosophically its the negative guy who is ultimately killing the positive guy. Not really canceling each other out but being more destructive by his own actions. Well that’s my response anyhow. Its always nice to spark discussion.

One of the best comics so far. :)
