About this comic

Me and the kids are playing like crazy when we have time to do it. It usually ends in someone being ticked about who took what mushroom and when. Bam! Comic!

Oh god yes, so true! My friends and I all end up killing each other either through spite or tripping over each other. Still bundles of fun, and a lot laughs though!

  2. Yuri says:

    Awesome xDDDDDDDDDDD

  3. jpfizzlebottom says:

this game is under 400mb, at that size i feel like they should be able to release a new one every other month

  4. Foxlore says:

The second panel was how I felt just playing the single player after 10 minutes…freakin’ spinning blocks 😉

  5. Slaverstrike says:

Ay, I know the feeling. Had a blast with my friends playing this game. Excellent game to play with your buddies, as long as your friendship can handle it 😉

  6. Heh. Makes me think of all the fun my stepbrother and I had trying to kill each other in the original Mario Bros arcade game.

  7. Daniora says:

Hubby and I have been playing it. I think the best part was when I discovered that I could pick him up. I did, and promptly jumped into a pit.

  8. Jason says:

Brilliant! This is exactly what I was like after playing this game. The rage overcame me once my friends decided it would be hilarious to have yoshi spit me off a cliff.

  9. Juan David says:

I love the multiplayer of this game, but it quickly becomes versus instead of coop.

  10. cafn8ed says:

The guys at Penny Arcade mentioned that a little while ago. They had a similar reaction and suggested renaming it “Divorce Mode”.

  11. BryanDavidWilliams says:

I guess I’ll just keep my money for White Knight Story. I just got done with Braid looking for something else to do.

    • Yeah, you got it wrong. SMBW is brillant on many levels. I can’t wait for more of this from Nintendo.

      • BryanDavidWilliams says:

I fear my friends ganging up on me one in particular. You know the one that shafts you in D&D constantly event when your the DM. X _ X

      • Fauziah says:

thank you for letting me know that i am not alone in the world. noitnhg but love for you right now. noitnhg but wary skepticism about cats ever since that day when i was 7…

  12. Juan David says:

BryanDavidWilliams, i think you got the wrong idea, this game is great and the coop is a lot of fun, but it can get to fighting instead of helping each other pretty fast.
I would recommend any wii owner to buy this game if you have 2 or 3 friends to play with, just keep knifes out of the room while doing so.

  13. Jake says:

Couch is to long…learn some scale man.

  14. Nomadigin says:

I’m proud to say that me and my family got all the star coins. Never thought it’d happen with three other non-gamers constantly jumping in lava and in a bubble half the time.

  15. atlantis1982 says:

Only time I ever played NSMBWii with more than myself was a friend, and we both wanted to play cooperatively.

Overall, I didn’t care for the game anyway.
Had more fun with Excite Bots. >.>

  16. Megaolf says:

The game reminds me a bit of Super Smash Brothers 64. Even the grafik looks the same

  17. BryanDavidWilliams says:

I went to wally world today to purchase it and they were all sold out.. T.T I was going to play it with my wife’s friends. Had it all planned out. 😀

  18. remolay says:

I can say I am never going to play NSMBWii because It looks the same as the one for DS and co op doesnt work where you have to stretch the screen to go farther than other people

    • King says:

It actually works really well because the players in the back get pushed forward if they are lagging behind. The person in the front can actually leave the others behind and force them to move forward to continue the progress of the board.

  19. Jake says:

The couch also doesn’t have any arms….Extra Life = Piss Poor Art!

    • BryanDavidWilliams says:

First off Scott Johnson draws funny and great looking comic strips in my opinion. They have there own style and me and my friends enjoy them.

Your argument is a kin to saying that Garfield doesn’t have enough hair drawn on. The focus in this picture is clearly on the faces not he couch. Comics often do not flesh out the details of background because the focus is on another portion of the cell.

Not everyone can enjoy the life of luxury that is the troll king / photorealistic artist.
