Your free to have your opinion, I just found way more content in Fallout 3. If you want “SHINEYZ LOOTZ” then yes go for Borderlands 2. You must have played multiplayer a lot, because the single player experience sucked IMO. I just fail to see the difference between BL 1 and BL 2. And the $60 price tag for PC? plz… I’ll wait till it is $30 bucks on Steam after 6 months. Plenty of good games out there to play now (FTL, Torchlight II to name a couple) Sides, ill wait till the expansion packs are bundled so I get the FULL game rather than give you a half baked product and then string you along with 3 addons later of “content”. Bait and switch only works so much.

It was what I wanted Fallout to be. I disliked that in fallout, even if I’m aiming RIGHT at their head, i still miss cause of a dice roll. Plus Fallout had so many glitches. You spend too much time repairing guns and hoping you have enough ammo for me to have fun in Fallout for very long =( but that’s a persona preference. Both games were very successful. But for different reasons.

Fallout: RPG with some First/Third person shooter Mechanics
Borderlands: FPS with some RPG mechanics. And lots of shiny loot.

Why do you call it a successful game though? Marketed well – yes, good game no. I’d rate it a 7.5 – 8. A bit empty, and only 1 vehicle. Give me “Fallout” over “Boarderland”s anyday of the week.
