About this comic

Having a bit of fun at the expense of old fishy face himself. The idea actually came from friend and fellow podcaster, The Turpster while he was a guest on Current Geek Weekly. It made me laugh.

    This is super funny, and a wordplay gag I’ve always liked, but…I’m…gonna be That Guy.

    • Comedy Referee says:

      Its a close one, but first is not always best. You know, like when a friend butchers a joke, and then you hear it later from someone else and its really funny.

      “Its a Treat” is kinda weak, and they went overboard obvious on the “Seafood Shack.”

      Plus, the Ackbar mask the guy is wearing is at least 51% of the funny in Scott’s panel.

      Point -> Johnson

      • A Different Guy says:

        I’m guessing/ hoping this is a “zeitgeist” sort of thing, but given the fact this has been a 3-year recurring gag elsewhere, I’m going with That Guy and the long-running Rack strip on this one.

  37. CanadaGuy says:

    Can someone PLEASE explain this to me.. i just dont get it.

  38. Plower says:

    haha nice one but it’s been done before, eight years ago!

    Absolutely Love this!

      , I would hate to see the affiliate prgroam go. I am in the ~one-sale-a-month category, and while it’s not much, it keeps the lights on with my blog. In fact, several times I’ve considered moving to a different theme to mix things up a bit, but that steady trickle of funds has kept me around when I was tempted to experiment. The affiliate prgroam was also a huge selling point when I originally bought Standard it almost felt too good to be true that I could have an awesome theme *and* make some small cash from it too.But of course, I don’t have to deal with the problems you are describing above, which sounds like a legitimate pain. I might decide to pull it if I was in your shoes too.
