The 13th of September marks the 25th anniversary of the Japan release of Super Mario Bros. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, the Mario games have been a huge part of the gaming world for gamers of all ages. To commemorate this, it seems there will be Mario Anniversary collection to be released in Japan containing: Wii version of Super Mario All-Stars, History of Mario book, and a soundtrack covering music from all the games. Will this be released in the U.S. in the future? Would be smart. [Zombies are] the subject of a new course, otherwise known as English 333, at the University of Baltimore.
Students will watch 16 classic zombie films…read zombie comics and, as an alternative to a final research paper, have the chance to write scripts or draw storyboards for their ideal zombie flicks.
If I wasn’t graduating this semester, you know I would be petitioning to bring this to my campus. A zombie based class as an elective for my English major? Can’t imagine.
While it does seem to have it’s fair share of work, the way the professor describes the class makes it seem as if it would be everything a zombie fan could ask for in a college course. Hopefully the class is as productive, in relation to other course work, as it is fun so that a trend may grow.
