Got my 3Gs, and so it was time to eBay my 3G. A bunch of fans said they were more likely to bid on it if I signed the back of the thing upon request. (Got like a hundred twitter replies to that effect.) That sounds crazy to me, but hey, if that is what interests someone, then I am ready to comply. Threw in a free 56 Geeks print as well.

Anyway, just wanted you guys to be aware of it. I’ll be really interested to see if people really do want it more if it’s signed by me or not.

  2. vóltage

  3. Liam

yea you can trick it out with some cool designs like you did with that toilet seat on flikr

  4. Kalakov

I’m currently the highest bidder, tempted to just buy out, just like I do in wow most of the time on the ah :p

  5. Scott

Would totally draw something if the winner wanted.

I sold my 3G on eBay just last week for a slammin total of $385. I wouldn’t accept anything less, esp if it’s signed :)

  7. Darrell

Wait a minute… aren’t these $99 brand spankin’ new, or am I nuts?
(Yes I realize the latter is quite likely)

  8. Dakaring

Got my 3GS last week, pretty sweet. Hope your having fun with yours Scott!

Darrell, $99 + 3 years of MINIMUM $70 per month.
With this you can, if you wanted, just slap your old SIM card into the slot and not pay any more than what you’re paying now for your phone. But then, unless you already had a data plan, you’d have to add a data plan on to your existing plan which may or may not (depending on your plan) raise your monthly charge up to that $70 minimum… In which case, go with the new one.

I really want to get this ($400 is a pretty good deal for a 16gb) but my iPhone is not in good enough condition (I don’t have a screen protector and I had my phone for a few months before getting a case so the back is all scratched) to get enough money to make this one worth buying…

yeah, 99 with a contract. Well, 8 gig are 99. But without a contract, they go for 300 to 400 bucks. They are all over ebay for that price.

  11. Darrell

Ah ok. Shows what I know. ;)

  12. Liam

perhaps you could cut off some of your hair and tape it to the back of the iphone >_>

  13. shoan

Last I read regardless if you buy subsidized or not you have to sign a two year contract. Stupid in my eyes. And they closed the loophole with turning iPhones into a pay as you go phone.

  14. Scott

Most buy them used like this to unlock them and use them on other carriers or in other countries.

  15. Richard

It’s another poo phone, don’t be fooled.

Scott, keep an eye on your 3Gs. You may have a pocket toaster oven on your hands.
